    ▶ watch this step 1:00
  2. 2

Create a halo effect around the outskirts of your white cardstock by blending the teal ink around the edges to soften the harsh edges.

    ▶ watch this step 1:15
  3. 3

Load your blending brush with a darker shade of similar colour and blend it around the outer edge to draw the eye towards the centre of the card.

    ▶ watch this step 1:45
  4. 4

Blend the second colour so it doesn't extend as far inward, creating a soft ombre halo effect.

    ▶ watch this step 2:15
  5. 5

Add a few drops of water onto the halo using a wet brush to bleach out the colour and create texture in the background.

    ▶ watch this step 3:00
  6. 6

Allow the water to activate the colour, then dry it off to lift out the colour and add dimension to the background.

    ▶ watch this step 3:30
  7. 7

Stamp the solid portion of the dress stamp onto your cardstock using the teal and darker shade colours, placing them in most areas and around the dress shape.

    ▶ watch this step 5:00
  8. 8

Spray water onto the inked cardstock to create a watercolour effect, allowing the ink to blend and disperse for a wet design appearance.

    ▶ watch this step 5:15
  9. 9

Allow the cardstock to absorb the ink, then remove the stamp to reveal the watercolour element of the design.

    ▶ watch this step 5:30
  10. 10

Position the detailed outline portion of the lamination stamp on top of the coloured dress and stamp it down, allowing the imprecise alignment to create a realistic artistic effect.

    ▶ watch this step 6:00
  11. 11

Stamp a sentiment such as 'Strong is the new pretty' onto the card in black ink.

    ▶ watch this step 6:45
  12. 12

Mount the completed design onto a card base, pressing down firmly to secure it without leaving fingerprints.

    ▶ watch this step 8:15
