Layered Suitcase and Pretty Woman Card

A multi-layered card combining three iconic IMALA stamps - suitcases, pretty woman, and rose ornament - with stencilled background and dimensional foam pad layering. The result is a stunning, textured artwork piece that showcases how different IMALA designs work beautifully together.

Step by step

1. Cut a 6x6 piece of card as your base. ▶ watch 15:30
2. Stencil a doily sentiment through the background using ink. ▶ watch 15:45
3. Pre-stamp the suitcases as a trilogy and double-stamp them for layering. ▶ watch 16:00
4. Pre-stamp the pretty woman and cut away the dress area. ▶ watch 16:15
5. Use a splat stencil over the dress area to create texture and effect. ▶ watch 17:15
6. Stamp the rose ornament over the dress to decorate it. ▶ watch 17:30
7. Offset the pretty woman stamp slightly on your card. ▶ watch 18:30
8. Overlay the suitcases on top of the pretty woman. ▶ watch 18:45
9. Use foam pads to lift the dress layer away and create dimension. ▶ watch 19:15
10. Mount the finished piece on black card, then on white card for contrast. ▶ watch 21:30

Tips from the show

• You can use foam pads to create dimension and lift layers away from the base.
• Masking off parts of stamps allows you to use only the elements you want.
• Every IMALA card is a unique piece of artwork due to the intricate designs.
