Coloured Lily Flower Card with Glitter Card Base

A beautiful A5 card featuring a large lily stamp coloured with Gossip alcohol markers on eco-friendly glitter card. The design uses layering with foam pads to create dimension, finished with sapphire blue embellishment stones for extra sparkle.

Step by step

1. Ink up the large lily stamp with Versafine ink and stamp onto the glitter card. ▶ watch 15:45
2. Allow the stamped image to dry for a couple of hours. ▶ watch 19:00
3. Colour the lily flower using Gossip alcohol markers, starting with darker colours and layering lighter shades on top to blend seamlessly. ▶ watch 21:30
4. Colour the remaining details of the stamp with your chosen marker colours. ▶ watch 25:00
5. Score the glitter card in half to create a card fold. ▶ watch 26:30
6. Adhere the stamped and coloured glitter card piece to a white card base using PVA glue. ▶ watch 27:00
7. Layer the card using foam pads to build up dimension. ▶ watch 29:30
8. Attach sapphire blue embellishment stones to the card for finishing sparkle. ▶ watch 31:00

Tips from the show

• Start with darker marker colours and layer lighter shades on top; this bleeds the ink out seamlessly and forgives going slightly over edges.
• The glitter card is eco-friendly and smooth enough to stamp on without glitter bits flying off, unlike other glitter cards.
• You can use the large lily stamp on smaller items like ATC (Artist Trading Cards) which are 2.5 by 3.5 inches.
