A project from our live show Brand Showcase in the HTCN studios - PEARLYWINKS - broadcast Friday 25th Feb 22 - 1st show · 25/02/2022
Create a simple daisy flower using five propeller-shaped elements cut from the Mandala Mayhem stencil. This quick project shows how to layer and offset the petals to build a dimensional flower focal point.
Cut out five propeller-shaped elements from the Mandala Mayhem stencil using an electronic cutting machine or by hand.
Apply a small amount of glue to the base of the first propeller petal.
Glue the first petal down onto your card base.
Apply glue to the second petal and offset it slightly so there is a small gap between the petals.
Continue adding the remaining three petals, offsetting each one and building around in a circle.
Add a centre element to the flower, such as a small circle or embellishment.
Colour the centre with ink or embossing powder if desired to add dimension.
Shape the petals gently by curling or bending them for a more realistic look.
