Twigs and Berries Wreath Frame Card

A nature-inspired card using the twigs, berries and buds stamp to create a decorative frame. The stamp is used twice, cut and layered to build up a full wreath design, perfect for featuring photographs or sentiments in the centre.

Step by step

1. Stamp the twigs and berries design onto black cardstock using black ink. ▶ watch 52:45
2. Run the stamped image through your die-cutting machine with the coordinating die to cut out the frame element. ▶ watch 53:15
3. Stamp the same twigs and berries design again onto a separate piece of cardstock. ▶ watch 53:45
4. Die-cut this second stamped image using the same die. ▶ watch 54:15
5. Cut the die-cut frame in half to create two semi-circular elements. ▶ watch 54:45
6. Layer the two halves onto your card base, positioning them to create a full wreath frame around your focal point. ▶ watch 55:15
7. Add your chosen sentiment or photograph in the centre of the wreath frame. ▶ watch 55:45

Tips from the show

• You can twist multiple die-cut elements on top of each other to create a fuller, more dimensional wreath design.
• This design works particularly well for Christmas cards if you add red embellishments to create berry details.
• The frame draws the eye to your focal point and adds professional framing to your composition.
