Watercolour Rose Lamination Card with Outline

A beautiful lamination card featuring roses that creates a loose, artistic watercolour effect. The two-part stamp system allows you to spray water between layers to achieve a painted look without needing advanced watercolour skills.

You will need

Step by step

1. Ink the solid portion of the rose stamp with your chosen colour on a stamp platform. ▶ watch 13:00
2. Stamp the solid rose layer onto your card stock. ▶ watch 13:45
3. Ink the green foliage portion of the stamp with a darker shade of green. ▶ watch 14:00
4. Stamp the green foliage layer, layering it over the rose. ▶ watch 14:30
5. Spray the stamped image with water or pearly winks mist to create a blended, watercolour effect. ▶ watch 15:00
6. Repeat the process around the card with different colour combinations for variety. ▶ watch 15:30
7. Once dry, ink and stamp the outline portion of the rose in black or your chosen colour. ▶ watch 16:00
8. Add a sentiment stamp to complete the card. ▶ watch 19:00

Tips from the show

• You don't have to use the outline if you prefer the watercolour effect without definition.
• Watercolour always dries about two shades lighter than it appears when wet, so don't worry if it looks dark initially.
• You can mix different lamination designs together as they are all created to coordinate.
