Step by step

  1. Die cut multiple hexagons from card stock using the hexagon die, spreading several dies across the machine platform to cut multiple pieces in one go. ▶ watch 19:15
  2. Arrange the hexagon pieces on your card base, deciding which direction each hexagon should face as you compose the design. ▶ watch 22:30
  3. Glue the hexagons onto the card base, building up the composition as you go without pre-planning the exact layout. ▶ watch 23:45
  4. Use scissors to frame or trim around the hexagon composition to create a neat border or edge. ▶ watch 25:45
  5. Remove the backing tape from foam tape using tweezers if you don't have nails, then apply to the back of layered elements for dimension. ▶ watch 26:45
