Enhance a completed stencilled poppy design by adding sparkle and dimension with embossing powders and glitter pens. This finishing technique transforms a card into a show-stopping piece.

Step by step

1. Complete your poppy design using the five-layer stencil technique with your chosen ink colours. ▶ watch 43:15
2. Use a sparkle pen to add highlights and details to the leaves and petals of the design. ▶ watch 43:45
3. Apply the WOW embossing powder to selected areas of the design for added sparkle and dimension. ▶ watch 44:15

Tips from the show

• You can add sequins or other embellishments around the design for extra visual impact.
