Schritt für Schritt

Cut the snowflake die from cardstock and set aside to use as a stencil. ▶ watch 22:00
Place plain cardstock on your work surface and spray it lightly with water. ▶ watch 22:15
Apply pink watercolour ink to the wet cardstock using a brush. ▶ watch 22:30
Add blue watercolour ink to create colour variation on the background. ▶ watch 22:45
While the cardstock is still wet, apply white ink to create a snowy dispersed effect. ▶ watch 23:00
Position the snowflake die-cut as a stencil over the wet background. ▶ watch 23:30
Pounce coloured ink through the snowflake stencil using a pouncing motion from the top. ▶ watch 24:00
Add additional snowflake stencil impressions in different areas of the card using the same colour palette. ▶ watch 24:30
Optionally, add white ink impressions over the top for extra detail. ▶ watch 25:00
Allow the background to dry completely before assembling the card. ▶ watch 26:00

Tipps aus der Show

The snowflake die is delicate, so pounce the colour through gently from the top.
You can use the same technique with the sunshine die or any symmetrical design.
The stencil background will match the design of the actual die-cut when you use it on the front of the card.
